Star Wars Battlefront can only be described as a disappointment. I felt that Dice missed the entire idea behind Battlefront and released a game that felt empty and unfinished, almost like half a game. These game reviews are my own opinion so I don't expect everyone to agree but personally I got bored very quickly due to the lack of content present in the game. More detail on that later, first I wish to talk about what I found good in the game.

The graphics of the entire game are gorgeous. Dice have done an amazing job especially with the maps as I found they really captured how the worlds should feel, it makes you want to look around and take in the scenery. Furthermore everything is incredibly seamless and all the movements such as reloading a weapon, throwing a grenade or aiming look amazing and realistic. As for the vehicles, the same can be said, it's just really well done. I would also like to mention that multiplayer has quite a few game modes some original and others not so much which adds to the re-playability. I also like that you die quickly as this makes it more realistic and more challenging. The game doesn't depend on leveling all that much as someone with a starting weapon can still easily kill a high level player with better equipment which is good.
Now onto the bad stuff. First off I wanted to talk about the content, the base game which is full priced, has a serious lack of it. It's almost as if Dice thought they could get away with it because they knew people would buy it. Star Wars Battlefront basically only has multiplayer which in it's self isn't that bad, unfortunately though because only the bear minimum of maps exist it get's boring after two or three games. After which there isn't anything else to do because the other game mode survival is also fairly boring unless you have friends to play with.
Like I said in the intro I found that it wasn't battlefront, more a mediocre attempt at a multiplayer first person shoot. Galactic Conquest, the game mode that I found made Battlefront a great game is completely none existent and there is no story mode either which was disappointing. So overall you really only have multiplayer and survival which are fun for a short amount of time. The last negative comment I have would be the spawning. You can get spawn killed more than once in a game and sometimes even in a row which gets frustrating.

Star Wars Battlefront is getting regular updates and Dice have definitely taken peoples views into consideration which is good news, so in a year it could be a good game worth playing for long periods of time. For me though at the moment I would say they have failed to make Star War Battlefront and have made an entirely new title.
